So the label of 500W really means drawing up to 500W from the car battery?! (The actual output which shows up as “efficiency” is much less then!)

The manual states that the AC in/out (infinity) port - as with the smart home panel 2 - disables all the AC outlets. I’m curious if instead using the IEC C20 inlet @ 240V 16A = 3.8 kW would leave the outputs enabled. I’m about how the backup reserve feature (primarily charge with solar, but backstop with AC to keep the station online) works on the DP3. I haven’t seen any manufacturer offer this feature, which seems like a no-brainer!

There is a lot to like about this, but the thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger is the inherent vendor-lock design. What happens in 5 years when this is several generations behind and can no longer be expanded or even supported? A DYI solution would allow substitution of components for repair or replacement. With this, you would have to replace everything.

Is there any system that will give full 50A for RV's without buying 2 units?

I have a question about the charge controller on this vs the Oupes mega 2. This has up to 150V and 20A(even though it says 13A on the port cover) and 1000W, whereas the Oupes has up to 150V and only 15A yet claims 2100W. Where do these W figures come from, and how can they be so different?

Not being an as****** I hope I do not come off as one however the galvanic response between stainless, galvanized steel and aluminum is a concern without some form of insulation. Nice build though and the video was exceptionally well made. :)

Thanks for the great video. My thoughts are that the Charging system is just dumb. I liked the other things about power station, but the charging is a no go for me. Must have at a minimum 150 vdc for the upper range on the solar input on both xt60 ports, and the unit must allow 120 volt ac charging while using 240 volts ac. Also must allow both ac and dc charging at the same time. I will not be buying this power station.

I use this exact unit to cool a 15x30 single floor tiny home (cabin lol). It works perectly. I have the cabin insulated of course, however half the cabin does get full sun and has full sized windows. The wave 2 cools it to a comfy 75 degrees, so when it’s 95 out thats a huge difference. Waiting to see what the heat pump can do in the winter. (Home is powered off grid with Bluetti AC200Max, with twin B300 batteries, hooked to a breaker panel, house is wired 110v only). I run the wave2 off this system. We have 1000 watts of panels going in. Never short of juice!

The shading of the Yuma Cigs was less than the amount on the other two. Please do a comparison of the shading tolerance of the BougeRV 100W fiberglass panel and their Yuma 100W. Those are the only two lightweight panels that can be walked on (that I can afford).

So it looks like they finally have put 2of their original units together in one unit and the joiner is built in with the ability to use the either joined fot double the watts or as split phase 240 that's why you can't use both 4000 watts 120 volts and the 240 volts split phase at the same time and the price while high will one day be affordable i?I figure once I cut the grid and put the 200 dollars a month for grid tie plus the 50 dollars a month power use won't take long to save up for one maybe by then there will have something better and or lower priced

I don't know what setting to use. Every setting on the back seems to make my power station charge and jump from 50w to 450w and cycles all over the place when my vehicle is on

Looks like a improved version of the Zendure SuperBase V to me. I own one and it’s basically the same thing with a slight higher inverter. Hopefully their QC is better than Zendure. I got a good one but I’ve heard the horror stories. Thankfully Brian Liu is trying to get things in order.

How much power can it safely take. I put a ryobi 18v in a 12v power wheels and it can now do 6.8mph instead of 4.5. We have a 24v ride in toy also that I want to give more power as it’s an ATV with 4 200w motors making it a true 4x4

The Pecron 500w charger only provides 414w max charging. Could I add this between the battery and the Pecron to increase the input so the output would be 500w?

I'm looking at options for back up power. Been looking at generac propane, and the Ecoflow system. I really like the ecoflow but one thing you brought up was a firmware update. That concerns me in the event folks can't get future updates for whatever reason.I dont want to sink a chunck of money into a system that may not be able to function properly because I cant get an update. Other than that, I really like the ecoflow

They should have 2x150v solar charge controllers. That would have made this unit #1. DPU is still king.

Hi Jason, I just got my 500w Pecron (thank you!), but I've recently seen some other videos of people doing dual Victron DC-DC chargers (with a suitably rated high output alternator). I'm wondering what you thought about the possibility of using two of these Pecrons in a similar fashion? Thanks again for your videos!

right now they are $899 with the exta battery. I just got mine with the battery and $100 ecoflow credits for $840 with tax, So glad by the time I wanted the glacier the price went down😅 great video, now I have faith in what i just bought!🤙
